The Handyman Group launched its first franchise in Hamilton in August 2022 without much fan fair and little to no publicity. But that didn't last long.
Troy Hillard the founder and Managing Director of The Rite Group franchise brands said " I am blown away with the amount of interest in The Handyman Group, We are getting flooded daily with people interested in joining the team as well as customers wanting to use our service".
We have launched 9 new franchisees since September and now have a total of 11 franchisees across New Zealand from Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupo, Christchurch and Invercargill and there are 4 more signed up to start before the end of June.
Troy said he believes the rapid growth can be put down to strong branding, a position in the market that targets the higher end clients who are prepared to pay a little more for a higher quality of service plus local and national competitors who have taken their eye off the ball over the past couple of years.
The team at The Handyman Group are fast approaching their target of 20 franchisees by the end of 2023, They sau they may reach this target as early as end of September 2023 they way things are looking. Even though we have seen impressive growth we are still on the look out for skilful people and or tradies who want to earn what they're worth and have full control over there schedule.
